Responsibilities Oversee, lead, and direct the district’s efforts to meet all state and federal civil rights and anti‑discrimination laws. Ensure compliance with Title IX, the 1972 Education Amendments, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1974, and related regulations. Coordinate educational services across all schools to support equitable educational opportunities for all students, particularly African American and Latinx students. Maintain liaison with district leadership, staff, and community stakeholders to promote educational equity and excellence. Qualifications & Requirements Valid California Teaching Credential – Multiple Subject OR Single Subject English AND Single Subject in any Science. English Learner Authorization or an approved alternative. Desired: bilingual proficiency in Cantonese, Spanish, Tagalog, and/or Vietnamese.
