Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | 16-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Orthopedic & Joint unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Care for adult through geriatric patient populations in an inpatient setting
• Administer medications, monitor patient status, and implement individualized care plans
• Float within specialty, to other units, and to sister facilities within scope of practice as required
• Work assigned holidays as they fall per unit scheduling needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or a valid Compact license at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience; strong Med/Surg and/or Orthopedic & Joint experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – American Heart Association only
• Permanent address must be 50 or more miles from the facility location (local candidates not accepted unless otherwise specified)
• Must be comfortable floating within scope with no scheduling restrictions

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification – American Heart Association only
• CPI certification (Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• First-time travel nurses with strong Med/Surg and Orthopedic & Joint backgrounds are welcome to apply
