Long Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) – Temporary Contract PositionArrow ARC Staffing is seeking experienced and qualified Long Term Care Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide patient-centered, skilled nursing care for Veterans residing in long-term care units at the Canandaigua and Bath VA Medical Centers. These are temporary, full-time contract positions supporting the VA's 24/7 inpatient care operations.Primary ResponsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesDeliver comprehensive nursing care to Veterans with chronic illness or disabilities in a long-term care settingPromote patient independence, dignity, and quality of life through individualized care planningCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate ongoing care servicesAdminister medications and perform clinical interventions per physician orders and VA standardsDocument all care provided in the VA’s electronic health record (EHR) system accurately and timelyMinimum QualificationsMinimum QualificationsActive, unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state, territory, or the District of ColumbiaMinimum of two (2) years recent experience in long-term care nursingBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Nursing (required)Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)Ability to work evening and night shifts, including rotating weekends and federal holidaysAbility to pass VA credentialing and onboarding requirementsDesired QualificationsPrior experience in a VA or federal healthcare facilityCertification or accreditation through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)Strong knowledge of chronic illness management and geriatric care best practicesAbout Arrow ARCArrow ARC supports Veterans Health Administration facilities and offices across the U.S. with health care staffing and program support via the 10-year Integrated Critical Staffing Program (ICSP).
