This setting promotes high-quality, compassionate care and a strong professional practice environment for our nursing team.Main Job FunctionUtilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.Prescribing, delegating, and coordinating nursing care provided to patients.Provide patient education & coordinate the activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining the standards of professional nursing practice.QualificationsNYS licensed registered nurse requiredCurrent CPR/BLS requiredACLS within one yearCCRN preferredEducationGraduate of an approved school of nursingBSN required or commitment to complete within 5 years of appointmentCertification in clinical specialty or willingness to complete when eligibleEvidence of cardiac arrhythmia course or critical care course or within one year of employmentExperienceMinimum of one (1) year of medical/surgical experience requiredCardiac monitoring preferredCritical care preferredAble to prioritize and plan for the unexpectedAble to delegate tasks appropriately.Position Pay Range: $38.00-50.00Starting Pay: Based on experienceThompson Health is an EOE encouraging individuals with disabilities and veterans to apply
