Job Responsibilities

• Administer comprehensive assessments across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics through standardized tests and clinical observation.

• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions focusing on various aspects such as communication, language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing difficulties.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to formulate integrated care approaches.
• Educate patients and their families to enhance therapy outcomes beyond hospital walls.
• Contribute to inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions when needed, ensuring seamless care continuity.
• Document sessions meticulously, adhering to state, federal, and institutional protocols.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Licensure and Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days after starting.
