HR ManagerIrvine, CA, US On-site Vaco $USD 40 - 48 C2hAbout the RoleWe're partnering with a well-established, growing company in the food & beverage space looking to bring on an HR Manager to support their multi-location operations.This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in strengthening HR operations, supporting employees and leadership, and ensuring compliance across multiple states. You'll work closely with leadership, Training, and Operations teams to help create a high-performing, people-first environment.What You'll Be DoingHR Operations & Employee RelationsManage day-to-day HR operations and support HR team membersHandle employee relations matters including investigations, performance issues, and documentationSupport leave of absence, accommodations, and workers' comp processesMaintain and update HR policies and employee handbookCompliance & Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local laws (CA, NV, AZ)Maintain accurate documentation and audit-ready processesPartner with leadership to reinforce compliant and consistent practicesTraining & Development PartnershipPartner with Training and Operations teams on onboarding and development programsSupport rollout of training initiatives and leadership development effortsHelp drive consistency across locationsTalent & Total Rewards SupportAssist with hiring efforts for corporate and leadership rolesSupport benefits administration and employee questionsPartner with payroll and leadership on compensation practicesPerformance & Culture SupportCoach managers on performance management and employee developmentSupport disciplinary processes and ensure alignment with policiesContribute to initiatives that improve retention and employee experienceHR Systems & ReportingMaintain HR data and track metrics like turnover and retentionUtilize HRIS systems (Paylocity or similar) to improve efficiencyPartner cross-functionally with Operations, Training, and FinanceWhat They're Looking ForStrong HR experience with a focus on employee relations and complianceExperience supporting multi-location or multi-state teams preferredSolid understanding of employment laws (CA experience required)Ability to balance employee advocacy with business needsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple prioritiesStrong communication and problem-solving skillsWhy This Role?High-impact, visible role supporting a growing organizationStrong partnership with leadership and cross-functional teamsOpportunity to influence culture, retention, and operational successHands-on role with a mix of strategy and execution
