This position is an on-site role and requires regular in-office attendance five (5) days per week. Opportunity We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Accounting Manager to join our growing Family Office. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a hands-on role, taking ownership of the accounting function while partnering closely with leadership. This position will oversee the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for a diverse portfolio of entities, including real estate investments and other private investments. We are looking for someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves, solve problems, and contribute wherever needed. Key Responsibilities Manage the full-cycle accounting process for multiple entities, including general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close. Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Oversee accounting for real estate investments, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing activity, capital expenditures, and property-level reporting. Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors during tax preparation and annual audits. Monitor cash flow and assist with treasury management. Review and improve accounting processes and internal controls. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and special financial analyses. Coordinate with third-party property managers and investment professionals. Support investment transactions, entity formations, and other special projects as needed. Maintain accurate accounting records across multiple legal entities. Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives and operational improvements. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience. Strong understanding of GAAP. Direct real estate accounting experience is required. Experience managing multiple entities and complex ownership structures. Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software. Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Combination of public accounting and private industry experience. Previous Family Office experience. CPA designation or CPA eligibility. Experience with partnership accounting and investment entities. Familiarity with real estate investment structures and capital transactions.
