EP Tech in Fenton, MI

Seeking a skilled professional with expertise in cath and electrophysiology (EP) lab procedures to support a dynamic cardiac team. This 13-week contract offers an opportunity to apply advanced skills in a busy cath/EP laboratory environment.


Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time weekday shifts, 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• One variable weekday off per week
• On-call rotation: One weekend per month (Friday 5:00 p.m.-Monday 6:30 a.m.) and four weeknights per month (5:00 p.m.-6:30 a.m. next day)
• No regular weekend shifts outside scheduled on-call

Qualifications/Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years working in a cath/EP lab setting
• Experience scrubbing all types of heart catheterizations, peripheral vascular interventions, structural heart, and EP procedures
• Familiarity with Merge Hemo documentation system preferred
• Certification/Education:
  • RCIS or RCES licensure strongly preferred; ARRT licensure considered with demonstrated scrub experience in interventional cath lab procedures
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scrubbing duties during a wide range of cardiac cath and EP lab procedures
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team while demonstrating the ability to work independently
• Document procedures using established systems, adhering to the highest standards in patient safety and care
• Remain available for on-call hours as scheduled, effectively supporting urgent or emergent patient cases when needed
