As a Security Officer Patrol in Galveston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff through strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.75 / Hour Pre-Employment Requirements Security Experience: +1 Years Job Schedule Mon: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM Tue: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM Fri: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM Sat: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM Sun: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observed activity. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting unusual conditions and/or potential concerns. Monitor access to the location and help deter unauthorized entry by observing visitor activity, verifying credentials when required, and reporting policy violations. Support a professional healthcare environment by assisting with directions, managing routine security‑related inquiries, and communicating clearly with staff and/or first responders during urgent situations. Minimum Requirements: A minimum of 1 year of security‑related experience is required. A guard card and/or license is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
