Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with exceptional customer service and communication. This role offers the chance to work independently and as part of a team while reflecting our values of being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity.

Pay Rate: $22.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or maintenance-related concerns in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or unauthorized persons to property management and/or local authorities when appropriate.
• Support a welcoming residential environment by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and communicating clearly with residents, guests, and/or vendors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
