Salary Range: $40,000

Position Overview: The Database Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and usability of donor data across Blackbaud Raiser's Edge and Salesforce. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, goal-driven professional who thrives in structured systems and understands that high-quality data directly impacts fundraising success and mission delivery. This is a fast-paced, deadline-driven role with a strong emphasis on ownership, consistency, and precision. The right candidate will be comfortable working with large volumes of data, meeting recurring deadlines, and maintaining a high standard of accuracy.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience working with high-volume data entry with strong accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas)
• Comfortable working with financial or transactional data
• Strategic and clear communication and follow-up skills to ensure stakeholder participation within deadlines
• Highly goal-oriented and motivated by meeting clear deadlines and targets
• Exceptional attention to detail and takes pride in accuracy
• Hands-on experience with CRM systems; experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge and/or Salesforce strongly preferred
• Is comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining high performance

Job Duties

Gift Processing

• Own the timely and accurate entry, import, and maintenance of donations and donor records in Raiser's Edge (RE7) and Salesforce
• Execute batch processing and mass imports using tools such as ImportOmatic
• Perform record maintenance including merges, updates, and global changes to ensure data integrity
• Manage donation adjustments, reclasses, and coding accuracy
• Process offline gifts including scanning, documentation, and acknowledgment support
• Assist with donor acknowledgments and receipt processing
• Conduct matching gift verification and donor research using third-party tools

Data Integrity & Systems Management

• Ensure consistency and accuracy of fund, appeal, and campaign coding structures
• Create and maintain database records, including new constituents and financial codes
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies proactively

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Communicate with internal teams nationwide to confirm donation details and resolve discrepancies
• Support staff with donor lookups, reporting, and data-related requests
• Assist with database-related projects such as integrations, data mapping, and SOP development
