Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:

$25 per hour

Shift:

1st Monday Thru Friday 7am-3pm (Temporary position , this position is contract only)

What’s a typical day as Material Handler? You’ll be:

• Preparing domestic and export orders, loading trucks and containers, and performing general labor tasks as directed by supervision
• Handling raw materials and finished product inventories, unloading packaging supplies (such as metal and fiber drums) for process areas
• Receiving training in plant clean-up and assisting in plant programs and other activities as needed
• Understanding the operation of the shipping department and its equipment, troubleshooting issues as needed
• Performing required work in emergency situations and assisting with duties at similar or lower skill levels as assigned

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Bring 1-2 years of relevant experience; chemical manufacturing experience highly preferred
• Have tow-motor operator experience (required)
• Are computer literate and able to communicate via email and use digital systems
• Demonstrate a high regard for safety and the environment
• Can work in a physical, industrial environment—must be able to sit for long periods on a tow-motor, stand for extended periods, lift up to 63 lbs., squat, bend, climb ladders, and reach overhead without restrictions
• Are willing to wear full Personal Protective Equipment, including a respirator and SCBA (as required)
• Possess a strong work ethic and commitment to following production, quality, and safety protocols
