Description: CVICU experience is a plus but not required. Attendance policy: One call-out is allowed per contract. A second call-out will require proper documentation and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Weekly orientation is provided. The facility is accredited and has 171 beds. It serves as a community hospital and regional referral center. Certified as a Chest Pain Center. Designated as a Level 3 Trauma center. Opportunities for outdoor recreation are abundant. Enjoy local fishing, golfing, swimming, and hiking. Explore various dining options including restaurants, breweries, and distilleries. Experience beautiful mountain ranges alongside serene lake scenery. Major nearby cities include Las Vegas, Phoenix, and the Grand Canyon National Park. This is a blended ICU role. The unit has 16 beds and the patient ratio is 1:2. The equipment used includes Baxter pumps. Electronic Health Record system is Medhost. Supervision is provided by the designated supervisor. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Common diagnoses and treatments include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, Acute Respiratory Failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH withdrawal, Head Injury, Overdose, Stroke, Trauma, CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR. The dress code allows for any scrub color. Unacceptable attire has not been specified.
