We are looking for a GenAI Solutions Architect to design and deliver secure, scalable, and business-focused generative AI solutions. Candidate will partner with business, product, engineering, data, and security teams to turn complex business challenges into practical AI applications. Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $140k - $150k/year & benefits (see below). The Role Responsibilities: Design end-to-end GenAI solutions using LLMs, RAG, AI agents, embeddings, and vector databases. Lead technical discovery, architecture design, proof-of-concepts, and production implementations. Integrate AI capabilities with enterprise applications, APIs, data platforms, and workflows. Define best practices for prompt engineering, model selection, evaluation, monitoring, and cost optimization. Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, compliance, governance, and responsible AI standards. Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to deploy and operate production-ready solutions. Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend solutions aligned with business needs. Requirements: Strong experience in software engineering, cloud architecture, solution architecture, data engineering, or machine learning. Experience with one or more cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Strong knowledge of LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, and AI agents. Experience with APIs, microservices, databases, containers, CI/CD, and MLOps. Strong understanding of cloud security, data privacy, and enterprise architecture. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills. Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, LangChain, or LlamaIndex. Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, Redis, or pgvector. Responsible AI, AI governance, model evaluation, or regulatory compliance. Cloud architecture or relevant AI certifications.
