Food Safety Quality Control Manager

This position has overall responsibility for the Quality Assurance function at the company. Job Responsibilities Administer all product testing programs relative to incoming materials, work in process, and finished product Handle consumer complaints Administer the SQF program, ensuring company compliance with all SQF level 3 certification requirements Train employees in PCQI, HACCP, GMP, and other Quality Assurance programs Provide training to manufacturing employees on quality control processes, standards, and best practices Report programming, processing, and equipment problems to the corresponding departments and the Operations Manager Meet production, quality, and quantity standards Implement company safety policies and train employees Manage customer and third‑party audits Maintain all product specifications and write new specifications as needed Lead an organization to uniformly embrace the company quality programs Manage the Kosher and Organic Certification programs Maintain SQF and HACCP background Qualifications and Skills Minimum two years of related Food Safety Quality Control experience Food Safety Quality Control experience required Ability to train employees on up‑to‑date quality control protocols Good organizational skills Ability to adhere to health and safety regulations Ability to meet strict deadlines Certifications of FDA FSMA standards, GMPs, SOPs, OSHA, and other regulations Leadership skills to lead organization in quality programs Benefits Full‑time work Flexible scheduling Health care (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life) Paid time off Life and disability insurance Tenure bonus Signing bonus $250 issued after 90 days Opportunity for immediate interview and on‑spot hiring Job Details Salary: $50,000 – $55,000 Job types: Full‑time, Part‑time Location: 31847 Glendale, Livonia, Mi 48150 Schedule: 8‑hour shift, Monday to Friday; available day shift 9am‑5pm EST; afternoon/ evening shift rare Work remotely: No Supplemental pay: Bonus pay, Signing bonus COVID‑19 considerations: All employees must follow COVID precaution policies; masks worn on production floor #J-18808-Ljbffr
