Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Occupational Therapist license in California is required
• Previous experience working in a school environment is necessary
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to provide comprehensive assessments, develop intervention plans, and maintain thorough documentation
• Adaptable to working at a variety of school locations with students of different grade levels

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans for K-12 students in need of occupational therapy
• Work with educators, families, and other therapists to support student participation and performance in academic activities
• Deliver both direct and consultative services based on student goals and IEP requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports according to school and legal standards
• Utilize a range of strategies to address students’ fine motor, sensory, and self-help skills in the school environment
