Position Details:
Join a Level III NICU at a regional perinatal center. The 20-bed NICU averages 1,500 deliveries annually, nearly 300 NICU admissions, and a daily census of . New graduate candidates are accepted if fellowship is completed before start.

Patient Population: Critically ill newborns and NICU patients
Setting: 20-bed Level III NICU
Responsibilities: Provide high-quality neonatal care, work collaboratively with NNPs and pediatric subspecialists, follow evidence-based clinical guidelines, and participate in care of high-risk deliveries and critically ill newborns.
Required Procedures: Conventional ventilation and HFOV
Support Staff: NNPs providing 24-hour in-house coverage; excellent nursing support and pediatric subspecialty support
Days Per Month: 8 24-hour shifts
On-Call/Weekends: No additional on-call; 24-hour in-house shifts with block scheduling

Submission Requirements:
- Board Eligible within 5 years of residency or Board Certified in Pediatrics
- Board Eligible within 5 years of fellowship or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- NY license or willing to obtain
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report within 30 days and DEA required prior to start
