Principal Software Engineer – Switch Design

Job Location: Silicon Valley, CA

Job Type: Full Time

Job Description:

Develop and optimize low-level firmware and switch software
Adapt firmware for new hardware platforms
Work closely with hardware, firmware, and software teams
Lead technical reviews and product strategy discussions
Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues

Requirement:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering
15+ years of networking switch development experience
Strong C/C++ and Python programming skills
Deep knowledge of SONiC, ONL, Linux networking, and Broadcom XGS
Experience with EVPN, VXLAN, BGP, OSPF, IGMP, and PIM protocols
