Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Certified Scrub Tech to support surgical operations in a busy trauma level 1 facility. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, dependable, and able to start within the next week, with a strong background in general and sports medicine cases.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and sterile supplies for surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons during surgeries by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Rotate between day and evening shifts, providing float coverage as needed.
• Work weekends and participate in on-call responsibilities, including one night per week and one weekend every two weeks.
• Adhere to hospital protocols for trauma and high-acuity cases.
• Maintain accurate documentation of case supplies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold AHA BLS certification and NBSTSA certification; CNOR preferred.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of operating room experience, including large trauma Level 1 cases within the past year.
• Have prior travel experience in a surgical setting.
• Possess ability to float between departments and adapt to changing schedules.
• Show comprehensive work history including facility details, EMR systems, and bed count.
