Job Overview Alhambra Elementary School District – Granada Elementary West School, Phoenix, Arizona Starting Date: Immediately Position Type: Part-Time Salary: $15.30 to $15.94 Per Hour Job Description Maintain buildings and grounds in good order. Qualifications Ability to do routine manual work of average difficulty in cleaning and providing light maintenance of buildings and grounds under close to moderate supervision. Physical condition necessary to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds. Citizenship, residency or work visa required. Responsibilities Clean walls, floors, fixtures, windows, sidewalks, and other areas on a prescribed schedule. Empty trash receptacles as scheduled. Move furniture and equipment as necessary to perform cleaning tasks and for special activities. Report safety hazards and the need for repairs. Maintain buildings and grounds security as assigned. Pick up trash; mow grass, trim grass and trees, irrigate, and perform other grounds maintenance duties as assigned. Assist in maintaining storage rooms and work carts in a clean, safe condition. Perform other duties as assigned. Salary & Benefits Employee benefits in accordance with Board policies. Beginning salary Level 24 as a Rover (9), (10) or (12) month position.
