Join us in shaping a new era in space and find a career that's built for you.Hardware in the Loop Systems Integration Engineer :-Develop or Adapt HWIL tested architectures to support program engineersGenerate high-fidelity simulation modelsIntegrate subsystem modelsProduce and maintain interface control documentsDesign and execute verification test plansThe information below includes the standard job description for this positionPerforms technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Basic QualificationsB.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (M.S. preferred). 5 years of hands‑on HWIL or high‑fidelity modeling & simulation work on missile, aerospace, or defense programs.Experience with real‑time operating systems and target hardwareActive and Current Secret Clearance. Thus US Citizenship is required Desired Skills5-to-10-year experience developing HWIL simulators for Missile or Spacecraft ProgramsHigh‑fidelity system modeling (MATLAB/Simulink, STK, C/C++, Python)Experience with automated test scripting such as Automation FrameworkExperience with Fault‑injection DesignProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice​#SpaceNSSPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
