Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Colorado Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience with outpatient orthopedics preferred.
• Ability to perform 60-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow-up treatment sessions as part of the clinic schedule.
• Experience completing timely, concise, and compliant medical record documentation, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessment, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and modify individualized treatment plans and to delegate or direct discipline-specific therapy services as needed.
• Willingness to participate in student supervision and professional development activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel or contract therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with safe patient handling procedures and materials handling best practices preferred.
• Familiarity with performance improvement initiatives and clinical outcome tracking preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 5x8.
• Clinic uses 60-minute evaluations followed by 30-minute follow-up treatment sessions.
• Candidate may be expected to follow clinic guidelines for appearance, attendance, punctuality, and safety practices.

Impacting Patient Care

Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans aligned with patient needs, goals, and physician direction. Provide education to patients, families, students, and coworkers. Maintain professional licensure and adhere to state practice acts, organizational policies, and codes of conduct. Contribute to a safe work environment by following established safety protocols for patient handling, infectious disease control, and environmental hazard reporting. Participate in performance improvement activities and complete documentation in compliance with regulatory and clinic requirements.
