In this role you will work closely with the leadership teams on their strategic people priorities, providing tailored services and solutions in support of their business and talent needs. Become a key member of Solar’s Human Resources team that is passionate about identifying ways to better the experience of employees, leaders, customers, and the performance of the Company.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary Human Resources Business Partner for assigned Solar business unit organization(s), including serving as a consultant to leaders and employees on HR related matters, providing guidance on HR policies and practices, and fostering a culture of employee engagement and development.Collaborate with senior management, as well as frontline manufacturing operation leaders, as a strategic advisor helping identify and prioritize HR initiatives that align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.Align HR policies and programs for their business unit which promote employee engagement, retention, and performance.Act as a trusted coach providing guidance on HR-related matters, including performance management, disciplinary action, compensation, etc.Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities and develop a story to provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.The Background, skills and experience of a successful candidate include:This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent related experience and trainingExtensive consulting skills: listens attentively, qualifies, and clarifies the problem to solve; takes a structured approach to problem solving, while engaging key stakeholders throughoutKnowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of Human Resources and the company's business including the organization's vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics in order to align capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance and accurately analyze situations to reach productive decisions based on informed judgmentStrong influencing skills: builds strong relationships across teams and stakeholders to bring others along and set all parties up for success by effectively influencing decisions and strategiesEmployee Relations and HR experience including knowledge of the rights and obligations in employee relations; ability to adhere to legal requirements when handling HR matters.Knowledge of human resource function and ability to uphold the organization's and industry's standards, procedures and policies regarding human resources management.Talent Management experience including knowledge of how an organization attracts, recruits, retains, identifies and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering, reporting and analyzing dataProficiency in core systems: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, TeamsProficiency in Workday is a plusThis posting represents two open HR Business Partner positions based out of the Kearny Mesa San Diego, CA facility. While responsibilities are similar, each position will partner with a different segment of our business, including but not limited to:Oil & Gas and Power Generation teams, including Business Development, Business Management, and Marketing.Package Systems Operations manufacturing teams.Summary Pay Range:$112,710.00 - $169,060.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
