Overview School Bus Driver - No Exp Needed - Training Provided Location: 2161 Foster Ave, Wheeling, IL 60090. Starting pay rate: $30.00/hour. Hiring immediately – no experience necessary – training provided. Walk-in interviews: Monday–Friday 9am–12pm and 1pm–4pm. Bring a friend. Responsibilities Provides safe and reliable transportation by operating a school bus or other vehicle on a fixed or changing route. Maintains on-time performance and safety; reports any incidents per company policy. Assists passengers as needed during boarding and evacuation in emergencies. Follows company policies on student and passenger management; completes required paperwork timely. Maintains professional appearance and cooperative attitude with staff, customers, and passengers. Operates vehicle equipment including wheelchair lifts, radios, and emergency equipment safely. Other duties as assigned. Paratransit driver locations may have additional responsibilities. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old (25 for Tennessee drivers per state law). Must possess or obtain valid state licenses and required certifications to operate company vehicles. Must meet physical/medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening; safety-sensitive role with random screening. Must satisfactorily complete and pass all training. Defensive driving required; maintain safe driving and work habits. Compliance with all applicable driver requirements.
