Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Chandler, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Oncology Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/12/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical Oncology Nurse (MS ONC) Chandler, AZ This acute care unit specializes in post-operative oncology and medical-surgical patient care. The role involves performing highly skilled assessments, interpreting tele strips, administering chemotherapy, and managing a high patient turnover in a fast-paced environment. Job Details Location: Chandler, AZ Shift Time: Days Shift Hours: 12 hours Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours Required Qualifications: ACLS, BLS Certification; Minimum 2 years of recent experience (within the past 6 months) in a similar role, with the ability to read and interpret tele strips, and ability to work with chemotherapy patients. Preferred Qualifications: ONS Chemo Provider Card (preferred, not necessary). Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive post-op assessments; monitor and interpret tele strips; administer chemo and other medications; assist in patient care and room prepping; adhere to unit policies including holiday and weekend rotations; operate Cpap and high-flow oxygen equipment. Schedule: Self-scheduling with shifts on days, including 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period, with holiday rotation and standby responsibilities. Additional Information: Candidates must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start; candidates may be required to float to other Med/Surg/Tele units; must have experience reading tele strips; and be willing to wait for license submission.
