Johnson & Wilson Companies is seeking a creative, organized Marketing Coordinator to help grow our brands through social media, content creation, advertising, and outreach. The ideal candidate has hands-on marketing experience, knows how to use marketing tools, and can take a project from idea to completion. Responsibilities include creating content and marketing materials, supporting digital campaigns, updating websites, and tracking results. Basic administrative support is also expected. This is an in-person position in Summerville with flexibility in scheduling. Compensation:

$16 - $19 hourly Responsibilities:

Public Relations & Media Outreach Personally manage public relations efforts across affiliated companies

Write and distribute press releases, media pitches, and company announcements

Build and maintain relationships with local, regional, and national media

Pitch stories to journalists, newspapers, magazines, podcasts, television, and radio outlets

Secure media coverage, interviews, speaking opportunities, and other publicity

Identify and pursue awards and recognition opportunities

Coordinate interviews, public appearances, and community outreach

Advertising & Lead Generation Create, manage, and optimize Meta advertising campaigns for Facebook and Instagram

Create, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns

Develop retargeting and remarketing campaigns

Track campaign performance, lead generation, and return on investment

Build and improve lead-generation funnels

Support recruiting, business development, and customer acquisition

Social Media, Content & Branding Develop and execute content calendars across multiple brands

Create posts, graphics, videos, reels, and promotional materials

Communicate directly with existing social media contacts to coordinate content and campaigns

Grow audiences through organic content and paid campaigns

Monitor engagement and respond to opportunities for community interaction

Design brochures, presentations, flyers, and other marketing materials

Maintain consistent branding across companies and platforms

Support company events, sponsorships, festivals, and nonprofit initiatives

Website, Email & CRM Marketing Update and maintain company websites, landing pages, and Google Business Profiles

Apply SEO best practices to improve online visibility

Monitor website traffic, analytics, and campaign results

Create email newsletters, announcements, and promotional campaigns

Develop automated follow-up and nurture campaigns

Maintain CRM records and support database marketing and client re-engagement

Administrative & Project Support Assist with scheduling, document preparation, file management, and office communications

Support real estate agents and clients with listing data entry, transaction file organization, and follow-up tasks

Coordinate materials, timelines, and vendor communications for construction and renovation projects

Help maintain design selections, budgets, and project records

Assist with event preparation, office organization, and daily operations

Provide a welcoming, professional experience for office visitors and callers

Qualifications:

Required Previous hands-on public relations experience, including writing press releases, pitching stories, and conducting media outreach

Demonstrated ability to build media relationships and secure coverage

Experience in marketing, digital advertising, and content creation

Hands-on experience with Meta Ads, Google Ads, and retargeting campaigns

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with Canva and marketing design tools

Experience updating websites and understanding SEO best practices

Familiarity with email marketing platforms and CRM systems

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to independently execute PR and marketing initiatives while managing administrative responsibilities

Ability to manage multiple projects, brands, and deadlines

Willingness to learn new software and support a variety of office needs

Preferred Previous administrative or office support experience

Experience in real estate, construction, or interior design

A background in technology or computer engineering
