Job Summary
Operating Room Nurse (OR) Locations where candidates will be working in the operating room environment. This position involves circulating various surgical cases independently, including total joints, spine, and general surgery procedures, with proficiency in DaVinci robotics and EPIC electronic medical records. The role requires a well-rounded OR RN capable of handling diverse cases and adhering to facility protocols.

Job Details

• Location: Not specified; candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility (based on drivers license).
• Schedule: Evenings shifts, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Iowa/IA license or compact/multistate license, a minimum of 24 months of current operating room experience, proficiency in DaVinci Xi, Mako, or Rosa robotics, experience in orthopedics including total joints and spine, general surgery, proficient EPIC EMR experience, travel experience within the previous 15 months, scrub experience, BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC, minimum of 24 months current OR experience, and a driver's license.
• Preferred Qualifications: Well-rounded OR RN with the ability to circulate various cases independently; experience with Mako or Rosa equipment with at least 80% of total joints cases using these devices is highly preferred.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA or ARC are required.
• Additional Information: The role involves working 1-2 of the upcoming Summer holidays unless the unit is closed. The team will be conducting clinical pre-screening interviews and orientations are scheduled for 10/5, 10/12, and 10/19.
