Software Engineer
Join the innovators connecting just about anything—from families to cars to now things—on the client's biggest and best network yet. The Client's platform team has an immediate need for a Software Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Technical System Expertise: Understands system protocols, how systems operate and data flows. Aware of current technology benefits. Expected to independently develop a full software stack. Understands the building blocks, interactions, dependencies, and tools required to complete software and automation work.
- Technical Engineering: Participate in projects by developing software solutions, conducting tests, reviewing, and deploying.
- Innovation: Continuous enhancement of existing or new system/process/services with an entrepreneurial thought process. Possesses security knowledge and experience that will cultivate new insights for improving various facets of security across the organization.
- Translates business and functional requirements into technical requirements to create a detailed backlog in partnership with Product Owner.
- Responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience with C#/.NET
- 4+ years of experience with REST APIs/Backend services
- 4+ years of experience with Azure Development (Azure Functions a plus)
- 4+ years of experience with Cosmos DB and/or Postgres
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure IoTHub, Azure Service Bus, Azure EventHub
- Experience with IoT and hardware devices
This role is fully remote with the option of working onsite at Bellevue, WA headquarters.
