Candidates should be willing to learn and adapt to a heavy neurology unit. Availability to work every other weekend is necessary. Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 specified holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day). Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our telemetry team. This position is focused on providing care for patients in a telemetry unit. Candidates should have telemetry experience, with an openness to learning about neurology. Experience with the NIH scale and the care of post-surgical neurology patients is preferred. The nursing staff will float between units as needed. Weekends are required as part of the regular schedule. Travelers may float between nearby facilities when necessary. The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 1:5. Safety and patient care are top priorities for all staff. We appreciate flexibility in scheduling and a commitment to teamwork. Candidates must have the ability to manage various neurological diagnoses. This is a critical role requiring a proactive and compassionate approach to patient care.
