Banquet CookThe Banquet Cook will work with the event team to prep for weddings, meetings, and dinners as we are one of the premier catering companies in Philadelphia. A successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, knowledge of banquet operations, and an interest in following and adapting to current food and beverage trends.ResponsibilitiesPrepare food items in mass production, according to the Federal, State, and Local laws, regulations, and ordinances as well as the department and Fitler Club policiesMaintain confidentiality of all members and Club informationFollows grooming and uniform standards established for this roleWorking as a team, effectively communicating with management and co-workersEnsure that member and associates areas are maintained in a safe and secure environmentPerforms all other duties as directed by immediate supervisorsQualifications2+ years of experience in kitchensGood knife work is a mustExcellent sanitation and work ethic are a mustMust be able to work on your feet for an 8-hour shift and be able to lift 50 lbs.Punctuality and regular and reliable attendanceMust be dependable and available to work within the club on weekends, nights and/or holidays based on business demandsMust have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, polite, and energetic*Fitler Club uses e-verify for employment eligibility verification
