NOW HIRING Servers for Brooklyn Pickle Raleigh!

Brooklyn Pickle Sandwich Shop (est. 1975), is one of Central New York's iconic sandwich shops with five locations in New York.  In 2023, Brooklyn Pickle began opening in North Carolina including Southern Pines, Raleigh and Charlotte with more locations coming soon!  We are a favorite quick stop for fresh and delicious sandwiches, salads and homemade daily specials, served with a friendly smile.  We are looking for friendly teammates who are comfortable working in fast-paced environments and love serving freshly prepared food!  Our Sandwich Makers will work closely with our Manager and Trainers to deliver on our team mission:

We will serve our customers the freshest product in the most pleasant manner, in the least amount of time.

Our ideal candidate is looking for a positive, fun team culture where managers and teammates hold each other accountable to the same high standards and:

• comfortable working in a fast-paced, high traffic environment
• has restaurant experience, serving or expediting online orders with accuracy

Schedule: Operational hours are Mon - Sat: 10 AM to 8 PM and Sun: 11 AM to 3 PM.  We are currently seeking part-time candidates and offer flexible scheduling with cross-training to potentially grow into full-time positions. Typical shifts:

• AM: starts between 8 am to 11 am and ends between 3-4 pm 
• PM: from 3 to 4 pm to close (about 8:45 to complete all closing tasks)

Pay: $13–$16/hour, based on experience (plus tips and bonuses)

What you'll do:

As an excellent Sandwich Maker, you will work with the Manager and Trainers to help support smooth, daily operations to meet company standards for:

• Customer service — timely greeting, service speed & order accuracy
• Timeliness — pace during AND after rush
• Cleanliness — maintain clean, organized, well-stocked service stations that comply with health department and food safety standards
• AM opening procedures — fully stocked and ready on time
• PM closing procedures — restocking and cleanliness
• Answering menu questions accurately and addressing customer concerns with grace
• Light food prep and other operational support as needed
