About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Tax to oversee the timely and accurate preparation and review of all income tax returns and related documents for its North American businesses. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing income tax estimates, establishing provisions, and ensuring compliance with external market developments and statutory regulations. This role also involves understanding the company's products and services in relation to tax implications, participating in business division projects, and providing strategic input to enhance business performance. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, a CPA certification, and 7-10 years of experience in federal, state, and local income tax. Experience at a public accounting firm is preferred, as is familiarity with OneSource or similar tax software. The role requires a deep understanding of US tax rules, particularly those that apply to US branches of foreign entities. The ideal candidate will be adept at interpreting and aligning with governmental rules and regulations, and will have a proven track record of effectively developing and implementing tax policies and procedures.
