About the Role

The Company is in search of a Tax Manager / Vice President, Tax to take on a senior-level role overseeing all tax compliance activities for its management company, funds, and special purpose vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end tax compliance cycle, ensuring full compliance with a range of tax regulations. This includes coordinating the preparation, review, and filing of various tax returns across complex multi-entity structures, both domestically and internationally. The role also involves close collaboration with the Managing Director of Tax and cross-functional teams, with a focus on process optimization and leveraging technology for operational improvement. Applicants must have 7-11 years' of experience in tax, with a strong background in financial services, particularly in private equity, private credit, or real estate. A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required, and a CPA is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in U.S. tax compliance for partnership and corporate structures, with exposure to international filings being a plus. Excellent communication skills, strong judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential. The role also requires a hands-on, proactive approach, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Strong organizational and project management abilities are a must, as is the capacity to lead the evaluation and implementation of process enhancements, automation, and technology within the tax function.
