Position Account Executive overseeing the Belleville, IL territory in a unique military community-based opportunity. Starting salary is $75,000 per year with an earning potential of a six-figure income after 5 years of successful service as an Account Executive/University Development Counselor. New hire training will be held in-person at our Phoenix, AZ campus. Key Responsibilities Strategy and execution: consistently identifying and implementing event/activity plans for your territory, building awareness of our online academic programs for education, healthcare, and business, and driving inquiry generation. Shape high impact partnerships for your territory and execute daily work through informational presentations, calls, and emails, iterating as needed to maximize value. Partner and influencer: through a variety of mediums, provide exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families, and partners on their journey to enrollment. Heart and Hustle: support prospective Grand Canyon University students through the admissions process, guiding them on the right path toward a successful online learning experience. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. No delinquent or in‑default status on a federal student loan as verified in your credit report. Outstanding time management skills – prioritize competing priorities even while traveling. Clear communication skills – explain just about anything to anyone and comfortable communicating in person, in writing, and on the phone, with well‑developed listening skills. Self‑motivation and drive to succeed – volunteer for new challenges without waiting to be asked, take ownership of the time you spend with Grand Canyon University students, and truly make a difference. High emotional intelligence – coach a diverse range of Grand Canyon University students, each with unique circumstances, and develop partner relationships. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, a flexible schedule, and clean driving record, with ability to use personal vehicle for travel; some events may require evening and/or weekend availability. Computer literacy – proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; bonus points for experience with CRM tools.
