Native American/Tribal Admissions Counselor - Online Division - International/Tribal

Overview Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is seeking an International/Foreign Credential Admissions Counselor to serve as the first point of contact for prospective students and help enroll them in Grand Canyon University online degree programs. The position is located in the Phoenix, AZ area and requires residence in or near Maricopa County. Responsibilities Execute a daily phone campaign, making 100+ calls and spending 3+ hours in conversation each day. Introduce new students to the online classroom environment and maintain detailed, accurate records of student information while protecting confidentiality. Provide counseling to prospective students via phone, email, or text, championing GCE’s mission and promoting student success. Communicate program requirements, transfer credits, payment options, technology requirements, and student support services to prospective students. Meet performance goals, generate referrals, and collaborate with a high‑performing team to guide students through the admissions process. Use CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite to manage and track student interactions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (preferred); related work experience considered. No delinquent federal student loans; credit report must show current status. Outstanding time‑management and prioritization skills. Clear verbal and written communication, strong listening and follow‑up abilities. Self‑motivation and drive; ownership of student interactions. High emotional intelligence; empathy toward diverse student populations. Computer literacy, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Bonus Points Foreign language experience outside the U.S. or multicultural experience. Relevant industry or professional experience. Experience working with CRM tools. Prior call center experience.
