In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient machine operations, maximizing production efficiency, and ensuring that all procedures are followed. Your efforts will directly support Winpak's commitment to delivering high-quality packaging solutions for various industries, while maintaining the high standards of safety and excellence that define our company. Key Responsibilities Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle. Control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed) to ensure optimal production. Feed raw materials or parts into semi-automated machines. Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.). Test the operation of machines periodically and make adjustments as needed. Troubleshoot and fix issues during the shift to maintain machine operations. Keep detailed records of approved and defective units or final products. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in a Machine Operator role. Experience in plastics (extrusion & thermoforming). Ability to read tape measures, schematics, and manuals. Strong understanding of production procedures and machinery. Adherence to health and safety regulations, including wearing protective gear. Basic mathematical skills for measuring and adjusting machine settings. Preferred Qualifications Technical degree or certification in a related field. Previous experience with high-speed machinery and measurement tools. Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team. Compensation range The compensation range provided is a general guideline only. Pay will be determined based on the candidate's experience and expertise and is subject to vary. $26.74 - $31.10.
