PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to find a motivated, detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join an Airframe Structural Design Engineering team supporting the development and sustainment of large cabin aircraft.

The Airframe Structural Design Engineering team helps define and sustain aircraft structures while supporting new product development, fleet improvements, manufacturing, and customer support .

In this role, you'll help strengthen the digital and information systems that enable engineers to work smarter-from managing technical documentation and SharePoint resources to analyzing data, developing reports, supporting workflows, and improving processes.

You'll gain exposure to the intersection of engineering, data, technology, and aerospace , while working alongside cross-functional teams and building skills that can accelerate your professional career.

What You'll Do

As a Structural Engineer, you will:

• Support the administration and maintenance of SharePoint sites, document libraries, lists, and collaboration tools .
• Collect, organize, analyze, and present data to support engineering reporting and decision-making.
• Assist with developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, metrics, and data visualizations .
• Create and maintain procedures, work instructions, training materials, and other technical documentation.
• Support document review, publication, revision control, and information governance activities.
• Contribute to knowledge management initiatives that improve information accessibility, retention, and reuse.
• Assist with workflow improvements and automation using approved business tools.
• Provide user support and training for departmental tools, methods, and knowledge resources.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.
• Prepare presentations, status reports, metrics summaries, and communications for leadership and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, IT, and other teams to improve processes and information flow.

Required Qualifications

• The ability to communicate technical information clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Curiosity, initiative, adaptability, and enthusiasm for learning new tools and processes.
• Experience organizing, managing, analyzing, or presenting information through coursework, internships, student organizations, personal projects, or previous work experience .
• A fundamental understanding of information management, business processes, data analysis, and problem-solving techniques.
• The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional experience or education in the following areas is a plus:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering with a Computer Science minor , or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Teams, OneNote , or similar collaboration platforms.
• Experience creating reports, dashboards, or data visualizations using Excel, Power BI, Tableau , or comparable tools.
• Experience developing procedures, technical documentation, training materials, or knowledge repositories.
• Exposure to Power Automate or similar workflow automation technologies.
• Internship, co-op, undergraduate research, student leadership, or project experience involving data analysis, software tools, process improvement, or technical documentation.
• Familiarity with engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, or other technical business environments.

Pay Details: $58.68 per hour
