Reports to: Human Resources Supervisor

Position Overview: The HR Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Human Resources department by assisting with various HR functions, including recruitment, on-boarding, employee relations, benefit administration, compliance, and record keeping. This position ensures smooth HR operations and helps foster a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist with job postings, resume screening and interview coordination. Facilitate new hire onboarding, including background checks, paperwork, and orientations.
• Employee Relations & HR Support: Serve as point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits. Support employee engagement initiatives and assist in resolving minor workplace issues.
• Benefits & Payroll Assistance: Assist employees with benefits enrolment and address basic benefit-related questions. Support payroll processing by ensuring accurate records and employee data updates.
• Compliance & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files and HR databases. Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws, assisting in audits and reporting as needed.
• HR Programs & Projects: Assist in organizing training programs, employee recognition initiatives and company events. Support diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts and wellness initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related is preferred but not required.
• 1 - 2 years of HR experience preferred
• Knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in HRIS Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment.

• Base salary range of $ 18 -$20 /HR depending on experience.
