Subject(s) Film Duties and Responsibilities Commitment to CCRI’s Mission Demonstrate a commitment to the philosophy and mission of a comprehensive community college Work collaboratively with others in a diverse and inclusive environment Work collaboratively in a diverse, inclusive, and student-centered environment, with students of various learning styles, cultures, identities, and life-experiences Instructional Skills Plan, develop, present, and modify courses from proposal, to syllabus, to delivery (classroom, hybrid, or online), to assessment, to evaluation Teach assigned courses Convey knowledge and skills effectively to students Continue professional development as an educator Use advanced technologies to expand student resources and learning opportunities Assess student learning according to best practices in the measurement of student performance objectives and outcomes Demonstrate creativity and flexibility in pedagogical approaches to a diverse population of students and peers Minimum Requirements Master’s degree in film, Film Media, or related field College-level teaching experience Industry experience in film production Preferred Requirements MFA or PhD in Film Media or related field Two years of college level teaching experience Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of any employment visa including student visas. #J-18808-Ljbffr Community College of Rhode Island
