Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field
• Valid SLPA certification/license for practice in North Carolina
• Prior experience within a school setting is highly desirable
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Compassion, patience, and commitment to student-centered care
• Adaptable and ready to support both individual and group interventions

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in implementing therapy plans and activities
• Deliver direct and indirect therapy services to students under supervision
• Collect and maintain data on student progress
• Prepare therapy materials and document session notes accurately
• Contribute to IEP meetings by offering input and supporting documentation
• Communicate regularly with educators and families to support student growth
• Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment
