Responsibilities

• Practice atFirstHealth’sflagship hospital (402 beds)inPinehurst, NC.
• Integratedcare team offers comprehensive maternity services in a compassionate, warm, and comfortable environment.
• 24-hourin-houseshiftsavailable.
• Join a team of OB Hospitalists, community OB/GYN physicians, Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists, Neonatologist,and agreat surgical support team.
• Our Women’s and Children’s Centerhas9 labor rooms and 10 triage rooms.
• Approximately 3,000 deliveries peryear andtrendingupward.
• Perform deliveries, OB triage, inpatient/ER consults, emergentGYN surgeries.
• Deliver high quality care ranging from routine obstetrical and gynecologic services to high-risk procedures with the support of a multidisciplinary team.
• Family-centered approachallows baby and mom to stay together in a privategroup;samenurse team cares for mom and baby.
• Mother/baby services include lactation consult, new mother support group, post-partum depression care, massage, and fitness.

Qualifications

• Completion of an ACGME/AOA-certifiedOBGYNresidency program and board certification/eligibilityrequired.
• Clean background, NClicensureand NC DEArequired. AHA BLSrequired,ACLS preferred.
