Housekeeper

Housekeeping Position at St. Peter's Catholic Church Stanberry

St. Peter's Catholic Church Stanberry is hiring for a part-time housekeeping position. The candidate hired will be responsible for the effective, efficient and safe cleaning practices for the parish rectory. This position is part time averaging 4-6 hours per week.

Essential Duties

• Performs functions that require use of machines, tools & equipment for the purpose of maintaining a clean & sanitized environment.
• Replenishes restroom and other necessary supplies as needed
• Provide routine cleaning for the parish rectory, including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, taking out trash, cleaning windows, toilets and sinks

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand and carry out instructions independently from supervisor
• Ability to work independently or with a team

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Related experience preferred
• Familiarity with the Catholic understanding of ministry is an asset.
