POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking reliable and bilingual experience for a distribution center located in Ashland VA. In this role, interpreters will provide in-person, and possibly remote, support for new hires, onboarding, training, and support in a warehouse environment to ensure a safe and efficient workplace.

LANGUAGES NEEDED

Spanish, Dari, Haitian Creole, Amharic, Arabic, Turkish, French, American Sign Language.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct on-site training sessions for new warehouse employees regarding safety protocols, equipment handling, and warehouse management systems. Act as a real-time interpreter between management and staff to facilitate daily operations, performance reviews, and safety briefings. Ensure all trainees understand OSHA requirements and warehouse safety regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Native or bilingual proficiency in English and one of the foreign languages. 3-5 years’ experience in interpretation and training, preferably within a distribution center environment. Excellent communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

Professional Interpreter Certification or similar accreditation is a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Hours will be determined by the distribution center’s hours.

PAY RANGE

$60 - $90 an hour Ascensus Global (AGI) pay range and level are general guidelines for this job. Several factors, including education, geographic location, contract labor categories, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, or market data, determine the final salary.
