Location: Loganville, GA

Position Summary
Henson Mechanical is looking for an experienced HVAC Lead Installer who takes pride in quality workmanship, leadership, and customer service. As our Lead Installer, you will oversee residential HVAC system installations from start to finish, mentor installation helpers, ensure every job meets company standards, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities
- Lead residential HVAC replacement and new construction installations
- Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, and indoor air quality products
- Read blueprints and installation layouts
- Ensure all installations meet local codes and manufacturer specifications
- Fabricate and modify ductwork as needed
- Complete startup, commissioning, and performance testing
- Train and mentor installation apprentices
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Communicate professionally with homeowners
- Complete installation paperwork and job documentation
- Care for company vehicles, tools, and equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC installation experience
- Previous experience leading an installation crew
- EPA Universal Certification
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail
- NATE Certification (preferred but not required)
