JOB SUMMARY Assist Senior Research Scientist in the Cotton Genetics and Brassica Oil Seed Crops program with ongoing projects at Pee Dee REC to include field, greenhouse, and lab responsibilities. Other duties as assigned. JOB DUTIES 15% - Perform assigned greenhouse duties such as potting, watering, and measuring accurately. 20% - Assist staff in data analysis and chemical management. 50% - Assist with planting, fertilizing, spraying, sampling, and harvesting of research plots. 15% - Perform laboratory analysis of research samples following the protocols and the proper safety manuals.

ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL Normal Operations - Required to follow emergency facility closure and modified operations directives, and not normally expected to work on-site during emergency situations.
