Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity offers a rewarding role for a licensed pharmacist seeking to contribute expertise in an outpatient hospital retail setting. This contract position involves working 4 to 5 days per week, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, over an 8 to 13-week period.

Location: Knox, IN
Schedule:

4 to 5 days per week
9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately fill prescription orders and verify technician-prepared products prior to release
Ensure the security and proper handling of pharmacy stock and controlled substances
Enter orders and patient information into the system with precision
Collaborate with a pharmacy team including a Pharmacy Manager, one full-time pharmacist, and two pharmacy technicians

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid Indiana pharmacy license
Previous pharmacy experience in a retail or hospital outpatient setting
Experience with Pioneer RX is preferred but not mandatory
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining regulatory compliance
