Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to support an outpatient hospital retail pharmacy setting in North Judson, IN. This role is ideal for pharmacists experienced in community and outpatient pharmacy operations who are seeking a commitment of 8 to 13 weeks working primarily daytime hours.
Work Schedule:
- 4 to 5 days per week
- 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately fill and verify prescriptions, including reviewing technician-prepared products prior to patient release.
- Maintain the security and proper handling of the pharmacy and controlled substances in compliance with regulations.
- Enter orders and patient information into the system ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Environment:
- Outpatient hospital retail pharmacy with a pharmacy team consisting of a Pharmacy Manager, 1 full-time pharmacist, and 2 full-time pharmacy technicians.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with Pioneer RX order entry system.
- Previous pharmacy experience within retail or hospital outpatient settings.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana pharmacy license.
- Pharmacist licensure and relevant work experience.
