Mechanical Designer

Snapshot / Role Overview:
We're seeking a Mechanical Designer in the Salt Lake City Metro area to create detailed HVAC and plumbing designs for commercial construction projects.
- Support successful project delivery through accurate design documentation
- Enable efficient construction with coordinated mechanical drawings
- Reduce field conflicts through thorough design reviews and coordination
- Contribute to sustainable buildings with energy-efficient system designs Responsibilities:
- Develop mechanical drawings and details using AutoCAD and Revit
- Coordinate HVAC and plumbing layouts with architectural and structural disciplines
- Assist engineers with equipment selection and specifications
- Perform load calculations and duct sizing using design software
- Create equipment schedules and material lists
- Review shop drawings and contractor submittals
- Support field teams with design clarifications and RFI responses
- Maintain drawing standards and quality control Compensation and Logistics:
