Computed Tomography Technologist - Travel Job

Become a vital part of the care team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist in Reno, NV. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer IV contrast under radiologist direction, and operate CT imaging and contrast injecting equipment to produce diagnostic CT scans for outpatient, emergency, inpatient, and trauma patients. You will support patient throughput, perform quality control monitoring, and maintain competencies required by the department.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years clinical CT technologist experience, including trauma experience.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification with CT credentials preferred. (ARRT required in order notes).
• State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography.
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program (JRCERT or equivalent).
• AHA BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Experience working in outpatient and hospital imaging environments; travel experience required.
• Ability to operate CT scanners, contrast injectors, and departmental computer/image storage systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with advanced imaging protocols for stroke, aortic studies, and trauma.
• Experience coordinating workflow for ER, inpatient, and outpatient CT volumes.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 4x10 schedule with varied shifts; typical weekday coverage includes Wednesday through Saturday rotation.
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 40.
• No on-call requirement.
• May be required to float within the organization up to competency level.
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period.
