Job Title Registered Nurse – IMC / PCU / Stepdown Location Oklahoma City, OK Schedule / Job Type Contract | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Every other weekend coverage required Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care (IMC) unit with a 4:1 to 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio Care for stroke patients in accordance with stroke certification protocols and standards Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic EMR Float within scope of practice to other units or sister facilities as needed to meet staffing requirements Participate in facility orientation modules, including both billable and non-billable components, as required by specialty Required Qualifications Current, valid, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license – no pending licenses accepted Minimum of 2 years of RN experience; first-time travel nurses are not eligible Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Stroke certification required Proficiency with Epic EMR Must reside more than 75 miles from the contracted facility (local candidates are not eligible) Preferred Experience / Skills Prior travel nursing experience in an IMC, PCU, or Stepdown setting Familiarity with stroke patient care protocols and neurological assessment Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a dynamic intermediate care environment with a specialized stroke patient population Supportive team setting with clear expectations and structured onboarding orientation Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 774059.
